This Privacy Policy describes how Electrical Companion ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Electrical Companion mobile application (the "App").
Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).
Usage data: We track the number of AI questions you ask per month to enforce plan limits. This data is stored in our database and associated with your user account.
Project data: Any projects, materials, labor entries, notes, and blueprint files you create are stored locally on your device using SQLite.
Purchase information: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and managed through RevenueCat. We do not store your payment details.
We use the following third-party services:
Your AI questions are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Do not include personally identifiable information in your AI questions.
Account and usage data is stored on Supabase servers protected by row-level security. Project data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. We use industry-standard security practices, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above.
